O.K. here's the scoop. We really need a beat up ol' 1970's type sedan (El Camino, Charger, Chrysler sedan, etc.), for our lead character to drive in our short film Ninja James and the Beast Boy.
We've been calling auto shops, repair shops, auto schools, car clubs, salvage yards, car rental places, and emailing friends, neighbors, and colleagues. It's getting to the point where I've started stalking beat up cars!
We need it for three weekends of our shoot, November 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd (2008). It's doesn't need to be pretty at all, but it would be great if it's up on it's various tags, so we can drive it on the street, without getting a ticket. Oh, and we would like to be able to take the windshield out for the duration of the shoot. Then before we return it, we would have it professionally replaced.
I know this may be a tall order, but if any of you have any leads or ideas or a car we can use, please let me know.
